The idea
Placeholder: a small physical control surface — keys, knobs, a display — bound to the workflows used dozens of times a day, so they stop competing for keyboard shortcuts.
The problem
Placeholder: software shortcuts are invisible and fragile. Physical controls have location, texture, and muscle memory.
Approach
Placeholder: prototype with off-the-shelf macro pads before designing custom hardware. Measure which bindings actually get used.
Current state
Placeholder: exploring. Collecting candidate workflows and testing bindings.
